Default LED replacement

Howdy all. Live in the DFW Metroplex and need some advice.

I have a high mounted LED spoiler/stoplight assembly. Well out of warrantee, and one LED segment burned out. Dealer, who has since retired, sent me a whole new unit (at shipping cost only) which works fine. He told me to keep the original.

Before he retired, he told me that there was no way for me to replace the bulb on my own; I'd have to replace the whole spoiler/stoplight unit and they'd have to reman the defective piece.

But since he's now retired, and since the defective original with the burned out segment is a spare, I'm wondering - anyone out there aware of someone who could possible replace the red LEDs in the spoiler unit?

Thanks in advance

Mike
