My name is Brandon. I have dreamed about owning a Corvette since I was a kid. I just realized I am in the perfect position to make it happen but I need your help/advice.
After a weekend of test drives and internet searches I have narrowed down what I am looking to buy as my first Corvette. Problem is that the car I want to look at is 1000 miles away.
How would y'all recommend procuring a car from such a great distance?
Do I need to find someone to go test drive and inspect it?
Could I find a Corvette specialist in the area of the car to go inspect it?
Or should I fly down to check it out personally?
If you or someone you know has been in this kind of situation, I would love to hear how you worked it out.
That looks like an internet shop that the Mac Haik dealerships set up to consolidate their inventory for online sales. So it's part of a group that includes a Chevy dealership, not just some shop selling auction cars and repos and whatnot.
I'd still have somebody take a look at it though. With 50,000 miles over 7 years it probably wasn't a daily but it did get used and may have some wear problems, especially if it was parked outside a lot.
I'd volunteer to check it out but I don't know when I'd be able to get over there.
