Read the thread about the events in Central Texas but was wondering if anyone did meets in the area around Temple, Belton, Harker Heights? I live in Harker Heights and just traded in my 09 Challenger SRT8 for a 2013 Corvette two Friday's ago and was trying to find a few people with the same passion for Corvettes. We used to meet up in the Harker Heights Market Heights parking lot before a bunch of 19 year old kids showed up ruining everything forcing us to leave. Used to be all corvettes back then when I had my Challenger.

As long as the crowd isn't teenager or young 25 and under I am generally good with it. Being 27 almost 28 myself, I have a wife and like to enjoy life and I hate having less than mature adults acting a fool. I might take a look if I remember at the Patriot lot. I'm the only red 2013 Corvette that I have seen near Indian Trail HEB in Harker Heights. Still got temp tags on...
I just purchased a 2003 Z06 (my first Corvette) and want to find a reputable/quality Chevy/GM dealer in the Austin (North) area for service work. Needs an oil change. It is in pristine condition and I want to keep it that way. No greasy, careless mechanics/service people. Any recommendations?
I am also searching for something more aesthetically pleasing than blue tape to mask my wheel wells and front for road trips. Any suggestions?

You will fit in nicely...No Youngsters....
We will not be there tonight, my wife has been sick.....If you can make the 6:45 meeting just look for the Corvettes, the people will welcome you in.....Love to have you and your wife.....
Have a Great Day!!!!!!!!
Being a previous member both corvette clubs (Temple & Killeen)...i can tell u this neither club are interested in performance driving (ie. no trips to the local 1/4 mi track, no HPDE at near-by road courses, no auto-crosses, etc)...their main activities are car shows and dinner runs. Im not bashing any club, just stating the facts. If thats the kinda stuff ur into then u'll fit in fine
I have no plans on tracking my car but I do like meet-ups. Maybe a cruise here and there as well. I will look into both and see. Couldn't make the one tonight due to a large and irritating amount of work on my next to final term for my degree.
I know it's been months...Never made any of the meets either club has had due to me on my last term of school now that finals are over. Now that I'm down to one class and work has flattened out a bit I got time.
We used to have a general muscle car meet in Target years back when I had my 09 Challenger but the 18 and 19 year old's ruined that one with alcohol and peeling out everywhere acting a fool.
On a side note, someone had a nice C5 at target yesterday that parked diagonally from my C6 at the far end of the parking lot.
