Default Brian @ RPT

I have an '02 Z06, which as most know, are prone to valve spring failure. I had #4 exhaust valve spring break running 75 mph on I-35. This happened Thursday afternoon. I started shopping for springs and trying to round up the necessary tools to repair the damage myself. I was a little apprehensive about doing it myself in my garage so I called Brian Reckart @ RPT Friday at about 4:30. He said get the car to him and that he had a set of LS9 springs in stock. I was also worried about having my car towed. Brian hooked me up with a towing service with Corvette towing expertise. The car arrived at Brian's shop about 5:30 on Friday. I was back on the road by 1:30 Saturday afternoon. Just wanted everyone to know about RPT's outstanding customer service and to thank Brian and his crew for getting me back on the road so quickly. The Austin Corvette community is very fortunate to have Brian to go to.

Brian is the go to man. No doubt. I recommend him to anyone that needs tuning or work done.

Let's get a beer one day Bobby.
Long time no see.

Been good George, just buried in work. How are you and your's doing? I was very fortunate to not drop a valve. I was running 75 mph in 6th, downshifted to 5th and rolled a little throttle on, and then it broke. I knew what it was right away. It broke into 2 equal pieces and kinda screwed itself together. I drove it about 2 miles after it happened.

We are all doing fine. Thanks. Just got back from Bowling Green (on Saturday) after going up with Larry, Oscar, and Tom to pick up Tom's new C7 at the museum. Went through the Tail of the Dragon on the way back. Pretty . Got to drive the C7. Amazing car!!! I may need to sell drugs, or rob a bank now...

Take Care. We need to do a cruise soon, now that the weather is cooling down.

Good to hear another positive review about them! If I do run into any issues with the vette (sure hope not!), they will be the first people I call.
