That's where I live, just east of 1463. I am planning on heading to C&C and then to 510, although I planned on heading to C&C last month and bailed due to the weather...everything was soaked by me and the roads were full of construction mud. If the weather is OK, I will be going.

I will be going to C&C and 510 after but I have no desire to beat my engine no on the dyno.

I wonder why they cancelled Cars and Coffee at Vintage Park?

Is it permanently cancelled, or just cancelled for May?

I heard its just cancelled for the month. I think its a bigger issue than just "cancelling for a month" so to speak.

Yep they're cancelling it this month, it's on their facebook page.
Saturday is going to be great weather, more reason to go check out 510's dyno day.

Coffee and Cars hasn't even been my cup of tea anymore anyway. There's tons of changes going on with the event that it really doesn't make worth while going anymore.
If you read some of their facebook post, they appear to be written by a 10 year old.

Default Spring, Woodlands & Conroe, Texas

An email from a local car club north of Houston. Very informal and not Corvette specific. Just a bunch of nice car people. Have fun, La.

AAMers,

So...the show at College Park HS ended up being for pre1980s vehicles, even though that didnt match the info on the original flyer I was sent... so yeah - we bailed and went to eat breakfast at Fieldings (their french toast is amazing).

- AAMer needs info -
Mustang Frank (and Tyler) need to know if anyones has recommendations for a shop that knows how to rebuild the transmission in a 2008 Saturn Vue. Apparently those 6T70/75s are notorious for having 3-5-R wave plate failure & they are very particular in being put back together. Lemme know if you have any recommendations, and I'll pass the word back to Frank.

--Two late-notice shows--
May 3 - 10am - 4pm - 105Storage and Wrap the World show - free entry - peoples choice awards - 13921 105West @ 105 Storage (cant miss the huge American Flag). Wrap The World called me and personally asked us/AAM to come out, so we'll be in BFT at Northbound I45 (&Rayford) Shell @ 9:20am on Saturday, and we'll head north @ 9:30ish. (Fyi since BFT doesnt have OD, we'll be "easy crusin" @ about 62mph to Conroe.) Lemme know if you wanna convoy with us, or feel free to just meet us there.

May 3 - Conroe Cruisers show @ the downtown square in Conroe. $30/car - Registration opens at 8, Judging starts at 10am. Open to all years/makes/models.

--ALSO THIS WEEKEND--
May 2-4 - Keels & Wheels @ Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook. This is another Concours show. There is also an auction there on May 2 for people with really deep pockets. www.keels-wheels.com

May 2-4 - The Third Annual Concours d'Elegance show @ LaTorretta Lake Resort & Spa on Lake Conroe. Concours judging evaluates rare cars often restored to above mint condition. Saturday will include the 13th annual The Houston Classic Auction with over 100 classic & collectible cars. Check out more at: www.concoursoftexas.org

May 4 (Sunday) - TWCCs Cars & Coffee for a Cause (C&C4C) @ Market Street - 8am to 11am - all donations & vehicles welcome. These donations go to a local charity. We're gonna try to make an appearence at this one

---NEAR FUTURE---
May 17-18 - Super Chevy Show in Ennis - AAMer Justin G will be up there with his black 84 stepside, so if you're going

May 17 - The Houston 1/2 Mile event will be taking place on May 17th during the Aeros & Autos show at Ellington Airport.
Registration for the Houston 1/2 Mile will open on March 30th on www.usmileracing.com. Registration is limited to 150 participants.
I don't have any experience with this event, but I've heard that its fun whether you enter or just go to spectate.

May 18 - (Sunday) - 8am - 3pm - Seventeenth Annual Open CarShow @ Endeavor Marina (3101 Nasa Parkway, Seabrook, Texas) put on by The Gulf Coast GTO Club. $25/vehicle - A percentage of the proceeds goes to The Houston Fisher House which assists Veterans. We went to this show last year and had a blast - its a road-trip-show & it takes about an hr to get there and we'll be crusin' about 70mph on Hardy to Beltway for those that wanna convoy with us - or your welcome to meet us there. (Rain date June 1st) Lemme know if you're in so I can let GCGTOs know how many to expect.

May 26 - HxC @ Rookies, 6pm-11 - All cars welcome.

June 28 - MudFest & BBQ Cook Off & Carshow @ WallerCounty Fairgrounds - $25/vehicle pre-reg. $30/vehicle @ door -10:30 to 11:30am checkin - 4pm Awards - I have registration form if you want or contact Stephanie Shollar > specialty9@aol.com or (713) 320-8283

August 16 - Sportsman Extravaganza @ Hempstead KC Hall - $25/vehicle pre-reg. $30/vehicle @ door -10:30 to 11:30am checkin - 4pm Awards - I have registration form if you want or contact Stephanie Shollar > specialty9@aol.com or (713) 320-8283

September 27 - Waller County Fair - $25/vehicle pre-reg. $30/vehicle @ door -10:30 to 11:30am checkin - 4pm Awards - I have registration form if you want or contact Stephanie Shollar > specialty9@aol.com or (713) 320-8283
