Pros & Cons Arizona vs Nevada
Looking to move to the Laughlin, NV area. Have some relatives nearby and we are sick of the Michigan winter.
We have been to the area several times over the years but not sure of any advantages of one state over the other.
Do both states require smog tests for vehicles? What about sales taxes, property taxes, income takes?
Thanks for your input.

Only Maricopa County (Phoenix) and Pima County (Tucson) require emission testing. I don't know about NV plates but a lot of folks consider AZ plates outrageously expensive. The cost is based on the assessed value of the vehicle. My 66 Stingray was $12 a yr but the GS was $1200 a yr. No front plates required.
