Yes I know this is the C6 forum but I am hoping someone here can help me. I live in San Antonio Texas and am trying to find a repair shop that will rebuild the quadrajet carb on my C3. The dealer will do it but wants to charge me 4 hours of labor plus parts. Come on, someone out there knows of a good shop, no one on the C3 forum could help.
I'm digging deep into the memory banks, but if I recall correctly, Quadrajets are not easy to re-biuld. Its often cheaper and easier to by a Carter unless you want to keep it original.
Try the carburetor shop, I have had good luck with them over the years on several different projects. Several vendors also offer date correct rebuilt carbs.
I had a Qjet rebuilt by him. He test tunes them on a real motor after he's finished rebuilding them. You will have to mail it to him in Colorado but worth the time and money.

PM Got Juice?, and ask him. His shop is just north of SA, and he works on many of the vettes around SA. I have no idea if he still does carbs, but he did back in the day. If not, I'm sure he can give you a viable alternative to try.
