Anyone frequent(or use to) San antonio raceway, I hear it's supposed to be re-opening soon??? anyone with some better info

Thats what I heard also but don't know if under new management. I think I read that IHRA was thinking of buying.

What have you heard?

I heard that IHRA has already purchased and they were looking at a 6-8 week period before re-opening. On the yellow bullet forum a local guy has seen a lot of activity at the track, so i guess it's just the waiting game till they make a official announcement...

no kidding man i havent been there in a few years after i sold my old GT, i only recently got my c4 into track form now its closed

it's 3641 s santa clara in marion, a good 45 mins from Helotes..

good to see another vette in san antonio/helotes area

I hope so. I bought a Procharged auto coupe for track fun before I left Indiana only to get down here and find out SAR was closed down. I was floored. SA is WAY too big of a city not to have a track.

I'm hearing two weeks away although they were pushing for a test and tune yesterday, my dad had a patrol unit stop by and the gates were open no racing though.. but at least its not barred up like it had been

San Antonio Raceway is back!!!!!! fully opened by the first week of june, they just had some racing there!!!!

apparently the guy from cycle ranch bought it and will have everything available by the first week of june after some new renovations
