Looks like they are going to have the Chevrolet tent this year near turn one for the car corral. I was disappointed with last years setup. My question is to anyone that attended in 2013, was that setup (chevrolet tent) worth it? Also appears parking this year is in lot T, which i believe is unpaved...

My son and I will be going again this year but the first time to be in the corral so I don't have any past experience.

We did go to the first F1 race and had to park in that lot. If I remember right it was unpaved at that time.

I have been the last two years. The corral parking last year was the best. I won't be doing the corral this year due to the parking situation. I'll just take my truck and park where I want. I asked why they changed and the sales guy said they needed the space. I can't buy that.

2013 was in lot T (unpaved at the time) and last year was in lot A which was perfect. As for the OP's question about the Chevrolet tent I didn't spend much time in one place (constantly walking around the track) so I never entered the tent.

Lot T wasn't bad, it's not like you have to off-road just to park. It's basically like pulling into your yard, which I've seen plenty of people do on this forum for a photo op and there have been shuttles running from Lot T in the past. I'll be there in my C6 coupe for the corvette corral and the parade lap. Hoping to have kooks LT's, catless x-pipe, halltech intake and a tune before then but it's going to be tight timewise.

Well, actually, we parked in Lot A just fine last year on Friday, but when we arrived on Saturday around 11AM we were told that Lot A was already full. We had to park in Lot F, I believe, or maybe H. Later we moved the cars over to Lot A, as spaces freed up, just before the endurance race. So I can believe that they "needed the space"...

Not doing the coral this year. Not because it is in Lot T, but just because I 'm not interested attending more than one day this year. Will most likely go on Friday.

Corral is a big disappointment. COTA doesn't know how to run a corral. They should spend a weekend at Road America for a Tudor race

Very True: They should spend a weekend at Road America for a Tudor race.

This will be my 3rd year going. Maybe they have it planned a little better this year, wish the tent was over in Turn 15 like last year...just not with the other makes in the same tent.

Same here. My group will be car pooling and leaving the Vette in the garage.

2013 COTA Corvette parking Lot A

The Corvette Corral tent is pictured above the Black C6 convertible. The 2015 Corvette Corral should be on the other side of Turn 1 Grandstands. I think the Porsche Corral was at the Turn 1 in 2014. I am still waiting for the Corvette Corral tent schedule to be posted by Corvette Forum Member cor123
