I have lived in Austin for years and have found that the roads in the hill country are the best bang for the buck. Don't do events or hang out with others but there is a huge Corvette club that may interest you, it is Longhorn Corvettes, look in the regional section.

Normally, second Sunday of each month is Cars and Coffee out at the Oasis Rest. at the lake. more cars than you can handle.
This month APRIL 17th.
