Phonenix Corvette Show
On Sunday October 6, Sun Country Corvette Club will be hosting the annual Oktober fest Corvette Show held at and sponsered by Midway Chevy in the west parking lot. The fee to enter on the day of the show is $20 with proceeds going to Phoenix Day an organization for children. There will be door prizes, dash plaques and trophies awarded. Hot Dogs, soda and water will be available at the show. Come on out and enter or just look at all the beautiful cars. Promisis to be a fun day. Hope to see you there.

There is not a race class listed and the cars are to be voted on by participants. This is mostly a charity event to help the homeless and abused kids of Phoenix. The classes are as follows:
53-62
63-67
68-72
73-77
78-82
84-90
91-96
97-03
Stock, Modified (over 5 changes), and custom (over 10 changes)
We are not looking for NCCC points here, but more to get people to come out and show their ride. I personally know many that are reluctant to go into a point judged show, I think that this is a good way to get them to come out and participate. Also to get some new people into the "hobby".
Some of the prizes already donated are an outdoor BBQ grill, Weekend in Sadona, and dinner for 2 at all of the Mastro's restruants in the Valley.
There will be a DJ there as well as the food and drinks.
Should be a fun day.

Take I-10 to I-17 north, get off I-17 at the Bell Road Exit East. Midway is about 1/4 mile or so on the right side of the road. The show is from 10-3 but we will be getting there at about 7am or so I think. Looking forward to meeting you.

The show runs from 10 - 3, but I would think that you may want to get there a bit before to do the clean and shine thing. I will have to be there real early to help set up seeing that it is my clubs event and all.

Just one last thought. I did this show last year and it is very laid back and fun. If you get a chance swing in and check out all the vettes.
