I'm looking to buy a 2006 f250 at a mom and pop dealership and was hoping someone in the Houston area could take a look at it for me and take some pics. I'm not looking for anything specific, just anything that is obviously wrong with it. Maybe Look under it for signs of rust, cigarette smell inside, etc.
I'd really appreciate it and would be will to throw a $20 bill your way.
Shoot me a PM and I'll give you my number and we can got from there.
Thanks,
Thomas

what dealership? That area (know locally as Spring Branch) is a very "transitional" neighborhood. It's historically low income area and a bit run down but does have some parts being gentrified by new construction.
It must be a highly specific F250 if it's worth looking this far away from Virginia.

Not sure how specific it is, but it was an eBay auction and I got it for a decent amount under book value.

Probably a good decision regardless of the report.
I owned a 2006 6.0l F250 and can tell you that unless the previous owner has done upgrades to the oil cooler, hi-pressure fuel lines/fittings and EGR system it is a money pit waiting to happen.
