Does anyone participate in the Dallas Cars and Coffee? I have a buddy in a jeep group that goes to it every now and then. I was thinking about taking my vette, but I'm not sure that getting there at 530a is possible. Is there usually a good showing of vette's?

A very good showing of Vettes always... Pull in, turn to the right at the entrance. They are all right there...

It is a great car show. Several Vettes every month. Tons of pony cars and mopars.

I have never parked in the show. I went one time and got there at 6:45am and the lot was full. At this point I kind of like parking in general parking. It's easy in and out and that is where the show starts. Lots of cool cars in the parking lot away from the dealership. It all depends on the weather though. Thursday and Friday rain is in the forecast so who knows how busy it will be. If the streets are wet and the rain is done at three AM there will be considerably less cars there. If the weather is nice, grab some Starbucks, be there 5-6am, pull up in there like you own it.
Original Pancake House is not far for after the show!!! Delicious!!

I may zig over there too.... Although Original Pancake House is AWESOME and close to event. Their are vendors there selling some pretty good food as well. Coffee is plenty and from OPH... Donations get you all you can drink. Our group used to get their @ 0530... Have not done that it years... I'll just roll in around 0630 and see what happens... Often times the gate guys will turn the less desireable cars away so the nice cars can get in. If you are driving just a Corvette ( stock) and get their at 730-0800 youll surely be turned away.

I can't find 93 octane anywhere... This is freaking crazy. Does anyone know of a gas station with some higher octane fuel? I may have to go to the show in the wife's caddy.

I found some up in Bonham yesterday... But I was in the GTO.... Filled her up... Less than half a tank in the Z... I won't drive it again until things get back to normal.
