Default Do you need a body shop recommendation for the DFW area?

Another recommendation for those looking for a collision/custom shop in the DFW area.

Koko's Collision Repair
1932 Valley View Ln, Farmers Branch, TX 75234
(972) 247-1801

My wife was coming to a stoplight and a 17 year old who was texting slammed on his brakes, but it was too late.

While it doesn't look bad in the pictures it caused quite a bit more damage than just a bumper cover. The total bill ran right around 12.5K with parts and labor.

They ended up having to replace the rear bumper, quarters, exhaust, and rear subframe.

The kid's insurance company (Progressive) wanted to put Chinese parts on it. Koko fought tooth and nail for us to ensure that only GM parts would go on our Z06. He owns a C7 and does custom fab work as well. He has two other companies, one makes bullet proof windows, and the other is a custom carbon fiber shop.

He is also in the process of building his own 918 Porsche. He is using the body of a 1980's 911 turbo. The AWD conversion is complete/installed, the coil over suspension along with the brakes are installed, and the LT4(C7) with two massive heat exchangers are installed as well. The wide body is being custom fabbed out of Carbon Fiber that he is doing himself. His vision for the interior is going to be bar none. It's quite the piece to look at especially considering everything his vision entails. Living in DFW we are often spoiled with some amazing cars, but his craftsmenship is top notch. If you are over in that area swing by and check it out. It's worth the trip.

My biggest fear was if his shop was going to be able to color match as yellow is difficult and ranks up there with silver, metallic, and pearls. Their painter knocked it out of the park.

Our attorney is in the process of filing claims for value lost and medical expenses incurred. The person who did the evaluation stated that KoKo's shop did a fantastic job and it's one of the best examples he has seen with the extensive amount of repairs they had to do.

Dyno pics were after repairs were complete. If anyone would like any other pictures at various angles let me know.
