Default Alamo Area Corvette Club, need your help

Any AACC members on the forum, or any San Antonio area Corvette owner for that matter. Looks like my vette is going back to the dealer (2015 Stingray 3LT, A8 with carbon fiber package) . I'm getting a vibration at 2000 RPM on every gear when normally accelerating from a stop. Some forum members responded to my original post about this and said they've seen this problem and that it probably is a torque tube bearing. This post is not about that, what I need from you guys is the name of a dealer in the San Antonio area that actually has techs that know how to work on this cars. I'm tired of dealing with people that have no clue. My car has been taken apart more times than I care for on account of transmission and flex plate issues, this new problem started after I picked it up from it's last dealer visit for flexplate replacement, and no I'm not taking it back to those *****, they're likely to break something else. Anyways, a good dealership with proper staff would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I not from that area brother, but have you had the old trans fluid changed for the new formula? I would try that before I would let anyone tear into the trans. It helped my '16 A8, but I can't say if it lasted as I traded the car after approx. 1000 miles. But, it was good up until then. 2000 rpms is right in the sweet spot for the shudder/vibrations crap. Good luck.

OP should consider posting his question to the Regional Section of the forum

Which San Antonio dealer have you already taken it to? Freedom Chevrolet claims to have a couple Corvette trained technicians.

You might try Freedom Chevrolet. They sponsor Alamo Area Corvette Club.
