My car is an 2007. It has just over 150k miles and for sure needs a brake job, new shocks, and at least 1 outer tie rod. I currently have the new pads and rotors and almost everything needed for an entire suspension rebuild with the exception of new wheel bearings/hubs and leaf springs. I'm talking new OEM control arms, knuckles, etc. I haven't torn into the car yet to see what is really needed other than being able to see the outer tie rod boot broken.
Non-maintenance related, I have a fast 102mm intake and 102mm Nick WIlliams throttle body that I have to put on there. I believe I need to buy some specific valley hardware still for it to go easily on the LS2. I haven't finished doing the necessary reading/research to make sure I have everything needed as I've been side tracked by another car I picked up recently.
That one, an 89 Turbo Trans Am, looks like it is rolling on original steering/suspension components and brakes. I'm sure that could use a steering rebuild and new shocks/struts and rotors and pads at the very least.
I don't have any mod but maybe a fuel filter change, maybe shocks that some one gave me, and if by chance some one have a Tech 2 can help untuned out the TPMS on the car. I think the previous owner tuned it out and it is not even showing up on the DIC.
Scheduling will be the trick. I was supposed to be on vacation Sept 6 through 16 but that has shifted to Oct 5 through Oct 15 and now have a wedding out of state weekend of Sept 28.
We can shoot for the first weekend in October? Temps should be reasonable..if not i have alot of fans and portable a/c, can even bring with me if we do it elsewhere
haven't been to a mod day in quite a few years. i'm in. with my hectic schedule...i'm open until next year and beyond. i did my suspension bushings and coil over shocks so i can bring my tools if any one needs them.
