To all Vette owners. If you travel north on I-25 from Las Cruces, the Border Checkpoint has installed new speed bumps, It scrapes the bottom of my C5 (stock ride height). You must go over them at a diagonal or you will scrape the bottom of you car. They look to be about 7 or 8 inches in height. Be forewarned.

This place beats where I came from in Northern Illinois. I can drive my car year round and they don't put salt on our roads to rot our cars. I pay about a third in taxes than before. Everybody smiles and says Hi even if we don't know each other. Those are my kind of weirdos, I will take them.

I did that a year ago and averaged over 105 mph for the trip. The check station didn't have any speed bumps then, and the guards didn't even ask any questions, just waved me through. Never even had to stop.

Your license plate was read by a reader, and you were photographed and passed through facial recognition and so were probably already cleared to pass.
