Are Chevy dealerships the only places to get the triple flush done? Out of warranty so on me .
A regular auto trans fluid change and filter should be enough. The only thing on the vette is the cradle needs to be unbolted and the trans and diff needs to be lifted a little to get the pan off the trans.

My $.02:
Are you currently having shudder problems? I had mine done at Classic in Grapevine. They have the tools and knowledge to do the job right. The objective is to rid the transmission of the old hydroscopic fluid and replace it with the new formulation as completely as possible. Thus, the "triple flush". I had it done and it got rid of the shudder and improved shift quality. Out of warranty will be roughly $1k or so at the dealership. If you are going to sell the car soon, I wouldn't worry about it. If you're going to keep it, I recommend getting it done. Much cheaper than transmission problems later down the road.
It needs the triple flush to correct the shudder, I have done many. I will usually flush with 24 qts. of fluid. The fluid was updated three times. It will correct the shudder.
