Any and all events, plz let me know what's going on. I just found this area of the forum and would like to get together with some of the fellow vette owners in this area. I know they exist because there isn't a day I don't see another vette.
Every Saturday night, there's an informal car show at the Scottsdale Pavilions, good place to see a lot of neat cars. Totally free, just drive in and park. First Sat of each month is Corvette night. This time of year the show starts early, around 3 pm (no set "start" time, just whenever enough people show up for you to consider it a show), goes until people get tired, people get cold, people leave, whichever comes first.
Pavilions is at 101 and Indian Bend.
This Sunday SCCA autocross at Firebird Raceway. First car out at 9:00am, we always have some vettes there. Free to watch or for $25.00 test your skill.
No. In NCCC terms it is a "low speed" event, so you just need a helmet, they even loaner helmets. If you make it out look me up. White 89' coupe, AZ plate ULLLOSE. I will be the one making the Z06 guys cry. :cry

Re: Looking for Phoenix events (Lord Odin)
The local group of Corvette Forum personnel have been really lacking in participation lately.
We have an e-mail list that we use to let other's know if we are going to be attending or hosting any events or car repair sessions.
The last 3 - 4 events that were e-mailed out to everyone only netted about 3 people, and the same 3 people each time.
Sometimes we go to the drag races on Friday night at Firebird, sometimes it's the car show at the pavilions, sometimes it's a "Corvette Saturday" where we meet at someone's garage to do Corvette repair.
We will be doing a cruise soon, probably mid-March, to Gila Bend.
Another place to look is http://www.corvette-paradise.com/DesertEvents.html -- that is the calendar section of the valley's largest Corvette club.
If you want in on the e-mail list for the Arizona Corvette Enthusiasts (ACE)(Just the local Corvette Forum members) then send an e-mail to Stan at purplec4@qwest.net . He will make sure you get added to the e-mail list.
