Gabe

I'd drive it from Boston if the weather wasn't so friggin crummy.
I ordered wheels from John at CCW yesterday. Will get some necessary basics from Nate at CorvetteGarage this week probably.
I think I am going to go with an intercooled Magnuson S/C and upgrade the cam when the new S/C's come out in January. Will get headers and intake when I do that and do it all at one time. I am going to let someone else go first though as they work out the kinks in the plumbing. 3/36000 warrantee sounds good to me...unlike some of my adventures in the past.

Intercity Lines has a backlog of 200 cars (mostly being shipped to Barrett-Jackson auction in January) so they said they couldn't take me til near the end of January! No pass.
Corey and I were cooking up a plan to fly up to Boston tomorrow and do a Cannonball run back (that would have been a blast). BUT....
I did find a service today associated with eBay which was recommended by the sellor and they say they can get the car here by the 12th. Still a bummer but much more popular with the locals. :seeya
John at CCW has a set of 19" 505A's (the split spoke design) with Michelin Pilot Sports on the way and Nate Caro from CorvetteGarage (Nate originally started Xtreme Motorsports) has agreed to come down some weekend after my car arrives and bring a whole passle of bolton goodies....we'll have a mod day that weekend for sure. I've given him quite a shopping list. I'll put him up at my house and we'll grill some steaks and drink some beer that day. Everyone will be invited.
So in the meantime, I wait. Fix the disposal. Vacuum out the garage. Tick tock tick tock.

I know the wait sucks. I look forward to the mod day party. The Houston crew will welcome Nate properly.

Update update.
1) The car is now delayed and may not get to Texas until 1/20. They picked it up on Friday 1/2, THEN called me to say they couldn't honor the day that they guaranteed on their website of 1/12. (This is DAS, not Intercity). Apologies, I get some of my money back but still no car yet.
2) I did a deal with John Page of 21st Century today to put an intercooled Magnacharger S/C in my car. He is getting an initial allotment of 5 and I am getting #4 out of 5 and the first polished unit he is getting.
Will get upgraded cam, new valve springs, upgraded oil pump, new seals, new intake etc. Will not do headers on this car as he says not really worth the increase in HP. Saved 2k right there. That's a good thing. I picked the ACI hood. Best fit of ACI, Caravaggio and RK Sports. MCM won't have blower hood for a while yet and the C and RK hoods have apparently had some fit and quality problems.
3) Wheels are confirmed to come this week from CCW. I will probably keep stock wheels on the car until it comes back from LPE. First thing they would do is pull the wheels off the car.
4) Nate Caro and I are on for the mod day, date to be determined, and he has my shopping list.

I am going to have Joe Napoleon's body shop do the body work including moving door handles, gas tank lids etc and do the car right. They did a masterful job with the Camaro and he's got the right values...I don't know how to say it better than that. He's not going to compromise.
The car in the pics does not comply with US industry standards (no side marker lights etc) so some work may need to be done to bring the kit into compliance for the US.
Tonight it is -28 degrees where I am in Canada. Think about THAT! :D
Night night.
