A point was made that those that have NHRA/IRHA legal rollbars are at a disadvantage when it comes to weight compared to someone with stock interior. Since we do not want to force the track's hand in be lenient with the rules, the next best option is for us to allow those guys with rollbars to remove their front passenger seat at their option. This may not make up 100% of the weight different, but it should help some.
So, the Race Rule that reads :
"All cars must be street legal (and Corvettes), meaning it must have current state inspection and insurance. Must have a full interior with both front seats."
Has been appended to read :
"All cars must be street legal (and Corvettes), meaning it must have current state inspection and insurance. Must have a full interior with both front seats. You may run with only one front seat if you are running a 5 pt. rollbar or greater."
Yelp, The tranny is running a little behind so it will go in next week. Before the SBSO. How fast do think the cars in F/S will run. I will have to weigh in at 3350 so i'm going add a little pounds.
