Machine Shop Recommendation

I am about ready to have the machine work done on my 454, and wanted to know if any one has used Owens Racing Engines machine shop in Pearland, TX. I am building this engine to about 500 HP.

I live in Dickinson (between Houston and Galveston) and don't want to travel too far for machine work, and Owens is the closest one I have found that does work on performance engines.

Anyone recommend them or another machine shop on the south side of Houston?

Not on the south side but I would give HPE a call.

I checked out their website.... looks like they know what they are doing! Wish they were closer to me, it would be almost an hour's drive... but then again it may be worth it!
