While on I-45 North near West Gulf Bank this afternoon, I saw Landmark Chevrolet unloading a transport full of C6's. They were all Black & the new Orange color. They should be on the show room floor tomorrow.
Yeah, they're here. I get home today and my wife says xxxxxx xxxxxx (sales manager at another dealer that sold me my 98 and 03) called. He asked that call him back and arrange to see my new vette fat chance! Already told him twice this month to forget it.
I saw the orange one at Mac Haik when I was picking up mine. It just came out of cleaning and I got to look it over. they do look a lot shorter! The headlights are nice, the wheels are uninspiring (typical for stock), the front end has nice new stance to it, the rear end is much less "C5", the interior is different but to be honest I was dissapointed compared to the reviews, and it is way too quite (compared to mine!). It will definitely get looks, but then so does the C5. The electronic doors and starter were giving the make ready folk fits too!
There were 2 on the floor last night around 11pm! They had them sitting behind a row of C5s, but you could still get a good look at them. 1) I wish they would paint the gray part the color of the body 2) they will have to find a better way to mount the XM antenna...looks horrible.
