Reflectix sure is easy to install. It took me only 3 or so hours to do the whole interior. It's just two layers of aluminum foil with bubble wrap between, so it's quite flexible and easy to hold against interior panels and cut to fit with a utility knife. Instead of gluing it down I used the Nashua waterproofing tape from Home Depot that I used to hold the B-Quiet on the doors. I can hardly wait to drive the car and hear that the difference in sound is. Once a start putting back the console, parking brake cover, sill plates, etc., I'll add additional material if the thickness is not a problem, or remove material as needed.
But, before that, I'll put in all new wiring harnesses, while the carpets are out. They arrived from Lectric Limited today -------- wow, there sure are a lot of wires even in an old car! Which is why I'm off to the big annual gem and mineral show in Tucson this long weekend, to relax and prepare for that next job.
