If you want try the photobucket route this process should work:
1- Join Photobucket at Photobucket.com Pretty painless.
2- Upload a photo to "My album". Make sure to remove the check from the "Keep original picture names" box
3- Click on the filename in the IMG block below the picture you want to insert. This should highlight the text in that block. If not, click and drag your mouse across all of the characters in the IMG block to select them (highlighted in blue).
4- Press and hold the "Ctrl" and then the "C" keys on your keyboard (this is the "Cut to your clipboard" function).
5- Go to your new thread and enter your message. Place the cursor where you want to insert your picture and press and hold the "Ctrl" and "V" keys on your keyboard ("Paste from your clipboard" function).
Your picture should show up like this:
when you press the "preview Post" button to your new thread.
