It is easier than you think. Here's how:

To post a pic in a Forum thread, the pic must first be posted somewhere else on the internet. To do this, go to <photobucket.com>, where anyone can open an account and post pictures for free. You can arrange the pictures in separate albums.

Once you've opened a Photobucket account, you will see a screen where there is an "Add Pictures" box. To add a picture, use the Browse button just to the right of this Add Pictures box to find the picture you have saved somewhere on your hard disk as a JPG file. Once you see the file name of your pic, you can click on the Submit button just below the Add Pictures box. Before you do this, if you want to, you can create a separate album by typing an album name in the Add Albums box just a bit lower on the screen.

Once you hit the Submit button, your pic will be loaded into Photobucket, and you will see your pic lower down on the same screen. Below your pic you will see entries in three boxes, URL, TAG and IMG. Select/Highlight the long URL name in the IMG box. (For example, the URL name for my license plate pic is ) Then Copy this name into your Forum message. Now you are done! Your pic will be right there. However, before I submit my posting to the Forum, I always first test it in the Testing Forum. That way I know it works and also that the pic will not be too big. I saved my license plate pic in Photoshop at a size of 6 inches wide and 3.2 inches tall, and this ended up being the size you saw in my posting; usually your original picture will be much larger, so you have to reduce its size in Photoshop or some other software program. I also saved my license plate pic as a "0" resolution JPG file (= lowest possible resolution) in Photoshop, so that guys with modems would not have to wait forever to open the posting.
