I don't know about you, but I have to manually check the box below my post each time that says "show my signature" under additional options below the posting window, or it doesn't show up. Like this time...

See? Or, more to the point don't see?

You have to have signatures enabled in your profile as well as check the little box to show your sig with every post you want to show it on. Forum etiquette is to only show a sig once in each thread that way the forum doesn't get bogged down. It used to default on and people were forgetting to turn it off and we were getting too many sigs in threads. The added pictures make it slow to load and hard on the dial up folks.

Make sure under user CP, Edit Options, you have the box checked to show sigs.(it is about halfway down the page.) You also need to manually check the box that says show your signature under the reply box on a thread each and every time you want your signature to show (only once per thread b.t.w.)

Ahhhh! Now I understand! Thanks for the explanation. It all makes sense now. I will only use the sig once per thread now, with consistency.

But that said, who still uses dial-up?!!
