[last minute info] Great Lakes Regional CI

As of today, there are 56 CorvetteForum members registered (75 people including the passengers); and 21 have opted for the Sunday USAF Museum walk-through. All the makings for a fun event.

Up to date info:

 Rain Date possibility:
Use of the rain date (where the Cruise-In would be moved to the next day - Sunday April 30) will only happen if Saturday is a total wash out. If this rare occurrence does happen, I will modify the beginning of the Cruise-In web info page and the GL section sticky post with the announcement early Saturday AM. So if in doubt, check there before you leave.

 Talk-In during your journey:
I will have my cell phone turned on and also carry an FRS radio on channel 7-0. Hey… when you get close, give me a SHOUT if you wish. This info and cell numbers are listed on the event sites directions, hotels, phone # page. It might be handy to print-out that page and bring it along.

PLEASE keep track of the miles driven to this event

 Be forwarned: Ohio State Patrol are notorious speeding-ticket writers. Please be careful during your trip to the event and back home.

 We will have reserved Corvette parking at the Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant. We'll be parking directly behind the restaurant. When arriving, take the street just before the restaurant. This lane goes between the restaurant and the Home Depot store; and is how to access the rear lot.
The QS&L managers are really stepping up to the plate for us Corvette Forum folk !

 Fellow forum member volunteers will be greeting you as you drive into the reserved parking area. They will hand you a raffle ticket and point out where the CHECK-IN booth is. After you park, take your raffle ticket to the CHECK-IN booth (along with your driving distance mileage) . You'll get … "Checked-In" and trade the tear-off portion of the raffle ticket for a goody bag!!!

 Did I forget to mention that you should keep track of the miles driven to this event ?

 We'll have a group photo shoot @ 2:45 (and hopefully Gary will remember to bring the CF banner… HINT - HINT )

 Followed immediately by the Door Prize giveaway @ 3:00. There is no official ending time for the Cruise-In; QS&L doesn't close until after midnight !!!

 On Sunday, arrive at the QS&L again - no later than 10am - for the cruise to the USAF Museum.

 If you want a souvenir from the GL-CI to take home with you, check out this link:
