Sometimes life happens during a build. I just wanted to get to use the car with my father before he died.Overspray in the engine compartment was not high on my priority list and still isn't. High on my priority list was spending that last summer with my Dad. I built it to drive and that it does I figure at least 35-45k miles so far miles so far.

It's a beater Hot Rod and I like it. Never claimed it as anything else. It's not that nice of a car, but it's mine and I built it in my garage.

I don't do shows unless forced. I carry my parts around to swap meets in the trunk, bring home my Christmas tree in it and drive the wheels off it. It's been to Bowling Green 2 times, Bloomington two times, Carlisle many times, Daytona, Skyline Dr., Syracuse, Dallas, Lime-Rock, Watkins Glen, and quite a few other places.

Overspray.... yeah it's got it, chips in the paint ? got that too, bugs on the windshield ? Yep got that as well.

I've done the pretty car thing....Too much work. I have never told anyone on this forum to do something the wrong way.

Damn crimp connectors still work 35k miles later. It is fused and has a relay if makes you feel better.

As you can see this pic was in the "test section" as test.
I should have removed it. I did not think of it.
I did not post this pic in the "Thread" . Someone else did. The thought being if your gonna pick someone apart you leave yourself open.
I do try to fight fair. The title and description are as it was described to me.
I see the thread is now removed.
Fyi. That is an old pic, I did have quite an oil leak some years ago. It has long been addressed.
The exhaust is 2.5 pipe. The system came off a 427 powered '63 many years ago. The fastest street car that I've ever had anything to do with. Its the only way to run side pipes with real headers, Instead of ineffective block huggers. It flows just fine. I welded up th o2 bung myself with my little mig lieing on my back. It is tested and tight. A member of this forum asked me to post pics of this system so he could copy it and thanked me. Sometime later I heard him describing to someone else how to to it, a couple of years ago. The only time it drags is on the was into my parking lot. I realise the Thrush covers are hokey too but I like them. Had them for many years. Nostalgia if you will. If you want to pick my car apart further look at the hood with the stinger screwed on. I don't care. Hoods come and go. I've got an actual after market stinger hood but it's not painted yet.
I'm not into show cars either, I consider my car to be completely a driver.
Now that we have got all of gripes off of our chests I will ask you nicely. It would be very nice for all concerned if you would tone down your replies to unsuspecting forum members.
