my test

Yep; needed some work done on the Corvette; and like most of us in the SW Ohio area... where do you go for Corvette friendly service?
Dale Clark has been running a shop for the past year or so in New Carlisle, Ohio... and I needed an alignment. Ever since lowering the front of my 2002, the car has become more and more "darty" on the road. Where is wants to follow the grooves in the pavement. So A date was set and I arrived.
outside was a racing trailer (hey, this person must be a serious car-guy) and some friendly fellow Corvettes:

inside the shop was some serious cars:

the office was all Corvette:

I'm beginning to think that the phrase "Corvette friendly" is an understatement !!!
Obviously there's some serious auto work going on here... it's more than just an oil change shop

C5 rear carriers in stock - and on the shelf:

yep; my beloved 2002 was driven on the alignment rack.

Dale asked me how much I weighed. Now; I liked the guy... but not that much !!!!!!!!
But he wanted to add my body weight to the drivers seat to load the suspension like I was driving it:

Dale asked me about the type of driving I do, and if I compete in autocross or dragracing. Since I am not into autocross, and onlty visit the dragstrip once/twice per year, we determine that the Z06 factory alignment was best for my specifics. Dale dialed it in; both front and rear:

this is a killer alignment system:

And you never know who you'll run into there. Yep; Harley (HEB) arrived with his 2004 Z06 Z16 Commerative edition for a set of ceramic brake pads:

During my drive home, all the alignment problems were solved. Smoooooth as silk. Couldn't be happier. Nice to know that a Corvette shop is in the area
