So I have wireless service with the ole deathstar. My coverage in home is atrocious. I get 1 bar if I'm lucky.
So I call in to regular ole customer service. They suggest I BUY a $150 microcell and then pay $20 a month. I informed them that I live in a 3.5 mile home community with 5,000+ residents there is no reason I should have to pay them more because their service sucks.
Even the rep said he wouldn't pay another $20 a month for service he already pays for.
So that was a dead end.
Well, I called into executive customer service and they agreed to "give" me the microcell, but became irate when i asked that they wave the $20 monthly charge (480 dollars over the contract life). They'd rather lose a long time customer than wave that $20. I was flat out told this. SO,
I may just return the ole Iphone 4 and switch to verizon since steve jobs promised no restocking fee for the next month.
I'm going to get a buddies droid x and try it out at the house and around town for a week and see if it fairs better.
