You have one too many [/img] tags in the second example. You only need one set [img][/img] per image. You have an "unbalanced" tag by having two closing img tags.
Thanks JT!
Looks like I have to manually delete an extra http if I copy the "direct" link, and need to manually delete an extra img if I copy the "IMG" link. Seeing as that wasn't mentioned in your instructions post #1, am I doing something wrong or ????

Sorry, I actually missed the first part, of the second example, of the URL - somehow. The doubling of the closing /IMG tag is what I spotted right away.
You're correct that when you try to embed an image using the WYSIWYG editor, it will automatically have the http:// prefix formatted. So if you already copied a URL that already has the http:// prefix, you'll need to delete one of them as you can only have one. For me, it's always easier to just empty the http:// prefix that the dialog box will have, so that you just then paste the URL you have.
You shouldn't have to do anything further than that.
JT,
If you get a chance take a look at a thread I just posted in C5 Tech re: Vararam install.
I swear I did everything exactly as I did when I succesfully posted pics with 2 4sale ads just now, no extra https or IMGs, but no pics showing up.
Man, this is a frustrating system!!
Thanks again for your help!
I fixed the images. You was missing the closing IMG tag [/img] for both pictures.
To recap, when you want to display one photo, you need to use a format like:
[img]http://www.URLOFPHOTOHERE.COM/IMAGENAMEHERE.JPG[/img]
Note that for each photo, you need an opening IMG tag of [img] and a closing IMG tag of [/img]. The URL of the photo goes between the opening and closing IMG tag.
