pic test
1) Go to your UserCP:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php
2) Click on the link for "Pictures & Albums"
3) If you have multiple albums, find the album that has the picture that you want to include in your post. For this example, I'm going to use the following album of yours:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/album.php?albumid=28987
4) Click on the picture that you want to include in your post. I'm going to use the following example from your album:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/albu...ctureid=121290
5) Note that there's an "enlarge" link below the photo (see attachment). Right-click on that "enlarge" link and copy the URL/Address/Link.
6) Go to your post that you want to include your photo and paste that URL/Address/Link that you took from step 5 above inside a set of IMG tags.
For example:
[img]http://forums.corvetteforum.com/picture.php?albumid=28987&pictureid=1212 90[/img]
Will do:

Thanks for your trouble and help.

You need to right-click on the "Enlarge" link (shown in the above image) and then select the copy URL/Address/Link option. That will copy the path to the image. You must do this. Sometimes you'll already see that in your browser's address bar but it won't always be like that. For simplicity, that's why I suggest you do the above.
You then paste that URL/Address/Link inside a set of IMG tags. You must add the IMG tags (opening and closing) yourself or use the What You See Is What You Get editor toolbar to insert the IMG tags automatically.
Again, this is what you need to post:

When I right click on Enlarge, under the options that comes up, there is nothing for or to copy URL/Address/Link. But down below a little they have this.
Picture URL
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/pict...ctureid=121290
BB Code
The BB Code is bringing the photo up unlike the code for Picture URL
Now this is there before and still there after I right click on Enlarge.
Do I copy and paste one of these? If so, I still don't know how to get to or add a IMG tag. Or how to find What You See Is What You Get in editor toolbar. Where is that?
Thanks again for all of your help and time.
Dazed and confused:

Basically, you simply copy the contents from the BBCode box and paste them inside a post. Just like you did above.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
But what I really was trying to do was to put a photo in the column to the left of a post. Like where you have Administrative Contributor
Garage is empty. Some members have a photo of their Vette or something else there. This is what I was wanting to do. Sorry I was not clear on that, but I also would have wanted to do what you have just showed me.
So how do I do that? Thanks again.
1) Go to UserCP: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php
2) Under Settings & Options, click on Edit Avatar: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/prof...?do=editavatar
3) Click on Use Custom Avatar and use the Option 2 to upload the image from your computer
4) Click on the Browse button to open a new window to display the contents of your computer to locate the file you desire to upload as your Avatar
5) Locate the file from your computer that you desire to upload, select it, then click on the Open button
Make sure the image complies with the restrictions noted, otherwise it may fail to upload.

I'm not sure I understand what isn't displaying for you, hence why I'd like to see a screen capture so we can look into the issue you're having.
For example the wrong IMG code leaving off Semi2.jpg would give me a Red X
[IM G]http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll142/dynomite007/[/IMG] (space between M and G so you can see the IMG code)
This IMG code gives me the correct photo (space between M and G so you can see the IMG code).

What you had:
[img]http://http://forums.corvetteforum.com/picture.php?albumid=28944&pictureid=1220 58[/img]
You had the correct opening and closing of the IMG tag. One of the issues is that you had two http:// prefixes. You only should have one http:// prefix. The second issue is that you had a space in the URL for the picture id (between the 1220 58).
I see where one of the issues came from. When I use the tag to not parse the BBCode so that the reader can see the actual code, it puts a space in the URL for some reason. I suspect you caught that and copied it.
Try it again with just one http:// prefix and no space in the URL. It should work!
