Mary purchased this car new in September of 1978. It has about 240,000 miles on it. All work done by me, except for paint
• 355 C.I.D. w/ 4 bolt mains rebuilt by me about 45,000 miles ago in 1991
• Edelbrock 600 cfm 4 barrel carburetor
• Edelbrock performer intake manifold
• Edelbrock performer alum cyl heads w/ 64 cc chambers , 2.02 intake / 1.94 exh
• 9.49 : 1 Compression Ratio - measured
• Comp Cams extreme energy 262 cam: I/E 218/224 @.050 ; .462 /.469 110 LSA (nothing radical – just a nice strong cam)
• Erson roller rocker arms & hardened push rods
• 700R4 transmission ; 4 speed auto w/ overdrive from a '92 Camaro; completely rebuilt by my cousin and I, includes B&M shift kit
• 2400 stall locking torque convertor
• TCI torque convertor lockup kit
• transmission cooler
• flexalite electric fan with adjustable temp switch and air conditioner relay switch
• full instrumentation (from a 1979 Z-28)
• 3.42 posi rear end from a 1978 Z-28 (clutchpack rebuilt by me )
• 1-1/4 in front stabilizer bar (from a 1978 Trans Am)
• 5/8 in rear stabilizer bar from a 1977 Firebird
• Hooker super competition 1-5/8 x 3 inch headers
• Flowmaster American Thunder 2-1/2 inch dual exhaust
• Mallory unilite comp 9000 distributor and coil
• suspension & steering linkage rebuilt w/ PST polygraphite kit
• new subframe bushings
• coil and leaf springs replaced
