I contracted Polio in January 1956 while serving in the Army. I was discharged from the Army and Walter Reed Medical Center in June 1956 as an E4 specialist and reinterred the Army on active duty. i subsequently retired from the Army in 1979 as a Sergeant Major.
I served in Europe for three tours and one included France. Later I served in Vietnam with the 1st Cav and invaded Cambodia. Never missed or failed any military assignment including PT test. Life has been a challenge and Parkinsons and Cancer are my current challenges. along with Cardiac Artery Disease.
