Hi-4 quad headlight Mod
Kit purchased for Vette lights ($ 50). Post 30 connects to Batt with a fuse, post 85 connects to ground at engine, post 87 connects to (engine side) of fuse 10, post 86 (trigger wire) connects to fuse 9. IT DOESN"T WORK! I believe the HID's have something to do with the problem or bad connection. Post 30 measures 12.6 VDC, post 85 measures 1.15 OHMS to ground, on low beam post 87 measures 10.77 VDC, low beam post 86 measures .01 VDC, on high beam post 87 measures 3.65 VDC, on high beam post 86 measures 6.30 VDC. I must have missed something.
I don't get a reading on ground nut on firewall. Connections to fuse 9 and 10 at 86 and 87 use a brass blade connector that is a sloppy fit. I just ordered inline fuse holder from ElectDirect pt# 666263 and new 4 pin relay's with connectors and ordered 5 pin relay's with connectors so that I could utilize 87 and 87a to fuse 8 and 9. I will build my own assembly.
