Test run
I have a basically C5 stock exhaust. GHL mufflers/ no headers except this 1 mod. I had the stock H pipe cut out and sleeves welded in to replace where it was, cost $100 .
I wanted true dual exhaust, nothing connecting the left and right pipes. I was told I would lose power by doing this, but I don’t care. I can’t feel any loss in power. I wanted the best sound I could get. I don’t race it so true power loss means nothing to me. Maybe I lost 3 HP or whatever the case may be, but I can’t tell. I did it strictly for sound. Here is my 7 second example of what it did. Yep, I’m showing off the sound for an entire 7 seconds. Hold on everybody……….
