I'm closing this thread because it's in conflict with Forum rules in several respects:
1. Interference in a For Sale thread. The thread started off as a thread to sell wagon wheels and has been taken in other directions in conflict with the site's rules:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1118176
2. Unresolved dispute. At some juncture the thread becomes a dispute between the seller and the buyer. Forum rules provide for the posting of a factual account when there is a clash between a buyer and a seller, but it should have been handled in a separate thread as per the site's rules:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1118161
3. Multiple user IDs. It seems clear that VETTE-DUDE and garys-hardtop are likely to be the same user with multiple user IDs. Without a doubt they have used the same computer to access Corvetteforum. Here's a link to the rules in that regard:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1643818
I'm going to put VETTE-DUDE and garys-hardtop "in moderation" until these issues can be resolved. What that means is that they continue to be able to send and receive PMs, but their future posts will not appear until they have been reviewed by a moderator.
The first priority now, however, is that we need to know what VETTE-DUDE is going to do to resolve the dispute with his customer siffert arising from the sale of the wagon wheels which do not appear to be in the condition they were described.
I've asked VETTE-DUDE via PM to respond to that issue.

VETTE-DUDE has responded that he will contact the buyer in an effort to resolve this dispute offline.
He further says that the user ID garys-hardtop belongs to a family member living under his roof.
I'll update the thread as I have additional information.

The purchaser has returned the wheels to the seller. The seller has refunded the purchase price. I think each party has learned something from the process and is moving forward.
