David was very kind in both his reply above and his e-mail, taking responsibility for the shortcomings and stating that we weren't alone on negative feedback, and that they were taking a hard look internally to ensure that this doesn't happen to their future customers. I ask the admins to leave this open until we get full resolve, but it looks as though MTI is going to step up to the plate and make things right.
That is awesome and I hope this does finally get resolved in your favor and from Davids respone it appears that they know that changes are in order to keep us gear grinders happy as word does travel fast on this forum along with some of the other forums out there

Default Mti

Wow this thread has really become down and dirty. Since it was my car that started it all I would like to set the record straight on our complete experience with MTI. Please understand that we chose to take our car the 1,800 miles away from home based on the positive feedback that we were given by some of their former customers. We had an excellent experience in taking the car in and they performed the work that we were paying for in a timely fashion. I know that some of the items that are listed in the thread were not handled in the best ways possible but to their credit MTI has stepped up to the plate, taken the heat and done the right thing.

One thing in life never changes, everybody gets beat up once in awhile but the persitant companies that believe in the product that they are selling and are willing to admit their shortcomings will always come out on top. If MTI makes that changes that David and I discussed earlier today I think that their young rapidly growing company will be able to add "#1 in Customer Service" to their web page. I for one whish them nothing but the best and I can't wait to have my next vette worked on.

Good response David.
I believe that your business could grow even more if you all get this type of issue out of the way.

In case anyone is wondering, David has gone out of his way to ship a very nice set of exhaust to me via DHL and I have been tracking the package, now in Waco Texas. He's definitely gone out of his way to ensure we didn't feel let down by their customer service. Looks like they're headed in the right direction, for sure.

Now that each side of the dispute has had the opportunity to post to the thread, we're locking it and it will go into the archives.

If there are future developments relative to this transaction, let me know and I'll add any appropriate updates.
