If you are thinking of ordering Corvette parts from this company, STOP. Email me at "carguyken@gmail.com". I will let you know how they conduct business. Also check with the BBB in Southeast Florida. They also use other business names, like Florida Precision Calipers, Florida Corvette Calipers, Vette Parts, Florida Corvette Manufacturers, etc.

Sounds like a good company to stay clear of?

After a closer look on the Forum, I found this company has been cheating others for several years. In addition to the business names listed above, they have used: Venician Vette Parts, VettePartsonline.com, Vette Parts, Florida Caliper Manufacturers, Vette Parts Online, corvettepartsonline.com, and likely others. They use multiple addresses in southeast Florida. The BBB gives them a "F" rating on complaints filed against them. I returned a ring & pinion gear set two months ago and they have failed to send a refund as promised. The owner/manager listed by the BBB is Carl Shuhi. Contact me at carguyken@gmail.com if you want to find out how they operate.

I bought a differential rebuild kit from "Florida Caliper Manufacturers" pre-internet and before the most catalogs carried them. They had a Delray, Fl address. The kit only had real thick shims. I called and they reluctantly sent me a better selection. Years later, this was years ago, I started hearing of their reputation and various names.

I have filed a complaint against "corvettespartsonline.net", and the owner Carl Shuhi, with the California Department of Justice (Attorney General). If anyone would like a copy of the complaint send me your E-mail address at "carguyken@gmail.com".

I also made the mistake of buying from them several years back. I still haven't forgotten the frustration I had with Carl. Wish there were a better way of notifying our Corvette friends to stay clear of vettepartsonline and the various aliases they use. If Carl's involved...the results are not likely to be good.

There was a thread on this forum some years ago about this goof. His home address was posted as well as a pic of his house, if I was him I'd be watchin' my back. There was some discussion about droppin' by to visit him. Hard to belive he's still at it.

If someone did decide to make that deserved visit? Make sure theres no castle doctrine in his state.

On his property or in his car, he can drop you at a threat. Even on his neighbors property.

As already stated he has been at this for years always changing company names, its too bad the word doesn't get out enough, besides this info on the forum, also been brought up on the NCRS board a few years back too.

I did check them out, the BBB has them listed as A- with only one delivery issue in the last 3 years that was rectified. As a result of that I did purchase a 3.54 ratio Dana 36 that works flawlessly. Very satisfied.

I called this company and asked about this since I have bought from them before.
Car Guy Ken wanted and was sent a used 3.08 original ring and pinion, without having to pay for it up front and was told to have it inspected. If It was OK for him, then forward a check, personal was fine, or return if he didn't want it.
Car Guy Ken did send payment. His installer would not install any used part and Car Guy ken wanted to return the part which he was allowed to do. He was given a full refund for the part. The freight was not refunded as was stated in the terms & conditions of the invoice. Car Guy ken then filed a complaint because he was asked to by another member of this forum!
This is just nonsense.

Who is Car Guy Ken, and what is your relationship to the business in question?

I do believe, and we will not find anything contradictory, car guy ken will not respond. He is a bought product of some competitor (s) of other companies.
