I put some tires up on here for free. I was only asking that the person arrange pickup and handle all ship costs. The tires were 2 Michelin pilots with 75% even tread left. It was my turn to give back to the forum community!
Along comes John, alias Blkhwk01. Says he will take them.
I get an email saying he was having problems with the call tag and UPS.
He asked me to send them. I said OK.. so he sends me $100 to cover the shipping and for my trouble :eek
Talk about a nice gesture and a nice fellow. He received the tires a few days later and is very pleased with them.. John is a new member but one that deserves respect.

Well guys...I suppose I'm too lazy to try to remember them all, but you know who you were, and thanks!
I've probably had well over 100 successful transactions. Only 2 scrapes, one was worked out rather quickly, I'm still working on the other one....but everything else was smooth

While some flames should be expected, it is wrong for everybody, not involved, to jump in with comments. Sometimes a flame can prevent others from a shady operator (they're everywhere!), but only should be posted when every posible thing has been done to bring about a positive resolution.

Bought a crank and rods from Brymnvette. Good guy to deal with. He shipped a day before I could get the MO out. (holiday) Parts were in good condition and well packed.
