Default Keen Parts

I have been buying my parts from a large Corvette Parts Supplier (not MAM) for nearly 30 yrs. I purchase around $15k-$20k or more in parts per year. A few months ago I had a young girl pretty much hang up on me after I got frustrated with her lack of help.

I spoke face to face with the owner of the vendor in Kissimmee last moth and explained what happened. I was told that they would look into it.

Still haven't heard from them yet............

All my business now goes to Tom Keen, Keen Parts. Tom is hungry for your buisness and provides TOP NOTCH customer service. He now has 100% of my business for what he can supply. He went over and beyond for me during a mis-hap with a customer car at the Mecum Auction last month. Can't ask for anything more than that!

Thanks to Tom and his counterparts at Keen Parts!

Brett Henderson

It is amazing to me that companies dont take care of customer problems. I always did anything I could do to make things right .

Thanks for the kind words. We do try to go above and beyond to take care of the customers (YOU!) . Anytime anyone calls us, it will be directly answered by a live person , not some computer voice telling you to push a number to get a hold of someone and then wait forever on hold. Our staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to Corvettes . If we don't know an answer to a question, we will find out and call you back within a reasonable amount of time.

I've bought GM licensed parts from Keen at the Corvette Expo in Pigeon Forge TN, at the right price with a smiling face.

I stopped in their showroom for the first time in decades a couple of weeks back with a wiring adapter question. Extremely knowledgable and friendly people there to help.

Very good people! One time, I was looking for a core support for my 62. We needed it to hang the nose. I had one order for almost two years. Finally, I made a choice to find a good used one. Proteam had a really rough one for 850.00. This was in 2004 when I was doing the frame off restoration. I called around and Keen had one. It was half the price. Completely straight and no pits at all. They shipped it to the place where I needed to go and took care of everything. Follow up, I needed headlight basket for one of the sides. I called them and they brought it to a local show in Chicago. Really good people... Its been years since I had bought parts from there since my project is pretty much done.

I noticed that too, but looks like they are still in business and recommended by members on the forum based on the very recent posts, so this gets the "old post" free pass.

Default Is Keen Parts as serious as you claim?

Yes, they still exist, but is Keen parts really as serious as they advertise on their site and as you claim?
No doubt with you, an American consumer, who are "on the spot", but for a foreign customer (France) this is not the case.

After having corrected an error, of their making, on my postal address just before my order was sent.
After certifying (and therefore invoicing) that customs taxes were included in the shipping price, I still had to pay them again.
This meant a total cost of $285 for postage on a 4-pound parcel worth $160.
And that's not all, I received my order but with an error on one of the pieces, a left side for a right side ordered.
I immediately notified Cody who, in response to my e-mail, acknowledged the error and undertook to deliver the correct part. I've been waiting since December 31, 2022, and neither he nor Eric have answered my e-mails since January 08, 2023.

That's a lot of mistakes... and a definite lack of consideration.

Yes, it was a small order of $160 to "test" their efficiency, and I'm certainly not going to continue with them. And I'm now at over $15,000 worth of orders for my 1961 C1 from other, and more serious suppliers. Too bad for them...

What to make of their attitude?
Are they as serious as they say they are and as you claim they are?

Still probably be better to start a new thread.
