It is not true that moderators delete bad responses about forum vendors. No matter how many times people repeat that claim, it is not a true statement.

Complaints about vendors go in the Transaction Feedback section, not littered all about the forum, or posted in Sales threads in opposition to the Interference in a Sales Thread rules.

Also, there have been multiple threads about this vendor in this section. Each person can only have one thread about a specific transaction, but there is no limit to the amount of threads on a particular vendor.

Glad that at least one man will not repeat my mistake.

This evening I had a long long phone call with Chuck.
Hopefully we understood each other.
I will cancel PP report and continue to work with Chuck to complete my tune.

I hope this time I get a final result.

I wouldn't cancel the PayPal dispute until you are completely satisfied..

Default Some answers here....

Some answers here....

So that people understand this situation, it would be helpful to know that this customer is in Russia (Soviet Union).

That presents some difficulties and communication is not always easy.

He is driving a 2008 C6 A8 car with a Supercharger and headers and the lack of tuning over there brought him to me.

He's actually my VERY FIRST RUSSIAN CoW BOOSTER!

The simple backround is that the customer was advised that we tune with EFI LIVE and unfortunately he has HPT.

I DO NOT USE HPT for tuning and I lack the configurations for the scan tool and I am TOTALLY UNFAMILIAR with

how it works. The customer has HPT and he DID NOT BUY my EFI LIVE AUTOCAL. No the less, I agreed to help him

the best I could. He has sent me multiple e-mails with improperly configured datalogs, scan tool configurations,

with missing pids and data and, as I explained to him previously, I could not do much for him without PROPERLY CONFIGURED

MAPS, DATA, and Configurations.

This customer has not been ignored.

To date, I have actually spent nothing less than 10 TIMES the normally required time (which he did not pay for) to setup and tune this car

and I'm still involved with him. Just preparing the shipment to RUSSIA was a huge headache most vendors would never even

get involved with.

FAST FORWARD:
===========

Yesterday, we had a long conversation where I explained that I could do absolutely NOTHING for him without the datalogs

I requested in the format that I need to see it.

With my advice and input and lots of screenshots via e-mail, he was actually able to supply me with SOME of what I asked for.

While it isn't perfect, he's made a good effort and we're moving in the right direction as I think he now has a better idea of what

I need to help him futher...... Tonight we will talk again and I think we might be good for now to make some tuning adjustments.

TO THE CORVETTE FORUM:
=================

Please be sure you know the details before you RUN YOUR MOUTH and be sure you have the facts before making comments.

NO VENDOR ON THIS FORUM would involve himself with a project like this nor would they invest the amount of time required for

the few hundred dollars paid, especially when the customer refused to buy the equipment I told them they needed to have.

This car runs VERY NICE right now, and will soon be the best running Supercharged (CoW BOOSTED!) C6 in RUSSIA.

When the customer gets me all the right data, I will continue to do the best job I can as I always do.

Thanks for listening,
Chuck CoW
