Buyers beware of seller Psurugby
Bought some ccws off of forum member psurugby real name mike Nowotarski.
He told me wheels where in great shape and tires was like new. So I get the wheels from ups today and this is what I get. 30% threat left on rear tires rear rims has spots and curb marks all over them. The inside of the wheel rubbed his a arms that I knew nothing about. Center caps have all kinds of marks in them. So I ask him for a refund and he told me hope I liked the wheels cause he was done with me.

that's jacked up....but not for nothing you should have gotten more/better pics...not blaming you but as the great Ronald Reagan said, "trust but verify"

So you expected new wheels?? and didn't get recent photos? I understand the disappointment, but you're at least the third owner. If you wanted perfection you should have ordered new stuff. Just sayin..
Those tires are definitely NOT "like new" though.

Wow.... This is total BS from the seller.
I understand with what everyone is saying. And I totally agree with the saying "trust, but verify," BUT if it were me in this transaction, anyone would assume that you will get what you pay for.
Meaning if the deal was done at the $1,900.00 figure ($1,800 for the set of wheels and $100.00 shipping with his UPS employee discount), I'd expect the rims themselves to be 9.5 out of 10 condition.
I was recently in a similar situation on eBay regarding a set of Cadillac Escalade rims. After asking for clearer pics and not getting them, I asked the seller for verification on the conditions of the interior and exterior of the rims (if cracks, chrome pitting, scrapes on the lips, etc.), which he responded never repaired. I mentioned the only thing I really cared about was that the structure of the rims weren't compromised (bent). When I finally got them, the rims were welded with aluminum parts on the insides where a whole piece of the inside of the lip used to be missing (about the size of your hand --this area would be hidden when a tire is installed). The welded parts weren't even aligned to the lip. Of course I wanted a full refund, but the seller mentioned that even with his accurate description, there was now a restocking fee. After some time of going back and forth, all while screenshot and saving messages via eBay and posting them online for the eBay moderators to see, I was refunded the full amount I paid for and reimbursed the shipping costs I paid to send the rims back to the seller.
The point is be courteous if there is something wrong and try to work it out in a dispute. If there's vulgar language or a change of heart, at least you can show that you tried to work something out while the other party simply "disappeared."
I really hope that everyone who comes across this thread learns something. Yes, even I too will think twice about online transactions.
But with your situation, I love how he said he has no idea what could have happened to the wheels during travel OR AFTER you got them... Yup, the wheels being moved around during shipping caused that deep grind across the inner walls of the rims. Or maybe..just maybe..you did that damage yourself.
There's just no way for anyone to miss that hard grind on that rim or for the seller to not mention that. Just goes to show that society doesn't fail to disappoint...Well, that is at least having good, honest sellers.
But do not worry, make your claim like other people here mentioned. And I just leave things to karma.

Everyone who is posting seems somewhat new so you guys are probably unaware of the documented issue with CCW drag pack rears on a C5.
CCW drag rears scrape the domed dust cap and even the top of the knuckle on C5's.
This is a KNOWN & PUBLISHED FACT!
The CCW recommended method is to mount the wheels, take a drive, and if you hear scraping, remove the rim, and proceed to bang down on the dust cap, and grind down on the top of the knuckle, re-mount, repeat procedure until no sound is heard.
Most if not all CCW drag pack rear rims have this scoring on the inner.
Its very normal.
These are 12-15 year old drag wheels.
They're not going to be perfect.
These are NOT made anymore and are a highly desired item!
Maybe the buyer can list them & make a nice profit..
The 17"/16" CCW Drag Radial Pack new retailed for $3800.00
Hell, the fronts alone are worth $2400 !

Man...that's terrible...sounds like the seller promised more than he produced...I know there are 2 sides to every story but this transaction makes me paranoid about buying without seeing something close up...I sure hope the seller returns your money...if he is ethical and fair he will return your money...otherwise its time to Lawyer up....just my .02...good luck sir

If I'm not happy I know the new owner won't be either so why Would I try selling them to someone else? Now I'm out tire money plus trying to fix the wheels. I told him send me like 350 back where it would help buy tires and I'll send wheels off to get fixed I think that's pretty fair. Since he told me tires was like new

Just post up good pic's just tell it like it is on them & not like the other guy did to you. Then no way the new buyer can be mad r upset with you.
