A successful end to a fraudulent event.
Members that have read my post concerning non- service on my hvac module know that I had a bad experience with a guy whose business on Ebay goes by the name of Corvette solutions.
I cancelled the order for repair the day after I ordered it, because I found another company who could do the same work,,and had many good reviews..
I hadn't even sent my unit to Corvette solutions.
I email him the following day, to let him know I no longer needed his service, and would not be sending him my unit for repair.
He emaield me twice, stating he would refund my credit card the amount charged to it.
Well he never did,and I got the credit card company to go after him.
They obviously did their homework and found that he did not do the work, even though he stated to them he did.
All he sent the credit card company was an order number, no invoice of what was to be done, and on top of that, no proof of return shipping to me of the unit supposedly he worked on.
I emailed the credit card company copies of the two emails he sent me stating he would return the amount back to my credit card account.
Today I got a call from the credit card company stating the amount would be credited back to my account.
Not because Corvette Solutions honored the request, but because they knew I was the victim of fraud.
I assume they are going to go after Corvette Solutions.
The company that actually did the work on the module(Dave's Corvette illuminations) did a fantastic job, and I highly recommend them.
For your own good, STAY AWAY FROM CORVETTE SOLUTIONS ON EBAY.

Good that this worked out for you in the end. That said, I'm moving this over to Transactions Feedback.
