Corvette Pacifica junk trim rings
Hey all just a little warning, bought some, granted cheap, trim rings from Corvette Pacifica to use "daily" and save the original GM trim rings I have from harm, Well about eight months later and I kid you not, 30 miles(car was getting an extensive detailing all winter long) the chrome is simply peeling of these in sheets, absolutely useless, When I contacted Corvette Pacifica, their response was that original rings cost $160 so what do I expect for $64 and that they don't recommend these because their junk but another type at $80. And after I spent $64 they will give my a whopping $8.50 discount on the ones they recommend.
I wrote back asking why they sell them if they are junk, that I spoke to a salesperson and they said nothing when they took the order (I would have spent the extra $16 if I knew that these were junk) and they were not even used, and the discount was a joke I am better off waiting for a sale and get them cheaper. Their response was nothing,
Rather sad, and poor customer service if you ask me to sell something they consider junk and then do nothing about it!!!!! Yes I know i was not getting GM quality trim rings but these are a joke. Thought I would put that out there if anyone is considering trim rings!!! Ike
My pile of chrome!!!

Yeah, not even concerned if they are on par to be honest, just looking for something that doesn't just peel apart. Can't understand why they would sell such junk when they, according to them, have an option for $16 more that they "recommend"? why ruin you reputation and upset your customers??? Thanks ike

Original trim rings are stainless steel. You will not get them only used and normally ding and bent. I have a few originals that are not perfect and if interested may be some one can restore them. The NCRS has a article on them i will look later text me if interested
