Stay away from DPE Corvettes! Out of Business??
***UPDATE*** : I finally got a hold of the owner, Perry. His web hosting company went under and he is in the process of getting everything changed over. So the information on his website was inaccurate. In addition, he had to order a couple parts to finish the kit prior to sending...hence the delay on sending out the shipment. I guess I am just too inpatient! No disrespect to DPE, if a moderator could please delete this thread, that'd be great! I don't want to cause any unwarranted bashing towards DPE.
On 8/24 I placed an order with DPE for their oil pressure sensor relocation kit. On 8/25 I received the tracking number for a shipment, but it is now 8/30 and the tracking number is still showing "pre-shipment" when I run it online, aka nothing has been shipped. I've tried calling the number on DPE's website and the recording says no one is available to take your call and the line disconnects. I can't even leave a message! I also sent an email 3 days ago to the president, Perry, using the email provided on the website. The email was returned and listed as undeliverable! I am getting quite frustrated and am about to put in a claim with Paypal to get a refund. Has anyone placed an order with DPE recently and experienced the same problem/awful customer service?
