I had a $13000 mishap and HAGERTY INSURANCE came through with flying colors. They were fast and very professional. Couldn’t of ask for any better treatment. THANK YOU HAGERTY.
They are not the least expensive but really care for their clients.
A buddy just had his vintage Aston fender hit - it has had old lacquer paint. Because lacquer is not available and no longer matchable with new paints - Hagerty agreed to paint the whole car, including dismantling all parts for proper respray.

In my experience they can be made to "really care for their clients" but do not volunteer to do so. They employ a take it or leave it approach to negotiating premiums. But as insurers go Hagerty is very good, well rated company and that's as important as the free magazine or refrigerator magnet you get with your policy. Dismantling before paint is gracious of them as well; I suppose the discount policies have a masking tape allowance instead.

I had a $13500 claim last year with Hagerty. Don’t really know anything about masking tape but they took care of my claim in a week. I got nothing but good things to say about my experience with them.
I had a claim and wasn’t satisfied with the first Hagerty offer. Called asked for new assessment; got a second reward, very satisfactory. I am ok with them. Jim

I have had Hagerty on my 64 ever since I bought it, in 8 years the rate has never gone up. Best one out there in my opinion. And you get a free quarterly subscription to their magazine.
Hagerty is a joke. Had them for over 30 years, recently changed to NCM. Like I said, hagerty is a joke. Check your policy, and your pricing, especially restomod guys, or modified cars. You'll be surprised what isn't covered for their ridiculous prices.
I've got three cars insured w/Hagerty, and am satisfied w/them. I had a '56 Ford totaled from hurricane Florence, filed a claim, and was reimbursed w/no problem. Then, the replacement '56 I'd bought needed a flat bed trip the second time I ever took the car out. Flatbed arrived quickly, no problems.

yeah I’ve been using them for over 20 years and I’ve had good luck with them. Unless they give me a reason I’m not going anyplace.

I switched an Aston Martin and 2 Corvettes to Hagerty insurance after being with State Farm, and save about a 1K per year. I was impressed by their professional attitude and knowledge. I was also thrilled to find out they insure the vehicles for what I value them at, I'm sure my close comparison to market value played no small part in that. Overall, the coverages are far better.
I hardly get to drive my cars but, mainly for the Aston Martin I wanted an insurance provider that I knew had experience with getting these repaired correctly, should that happen. My insurance lady at State Farm said that was the smart move going with Hagerty. The Corvettes being a little more common, I could have stayed with State Farm but, Hagerty gave me great rates for those as well. Common vehicles like my Nissan Maxima and S10 ZR-2, State Farm can handle those all day long.
So far, I like what I see from Hagerty, YMMV. Of course, we all see their true colors on a case by case basis when a claim gets filed.
