Default Why i keep buying at Vicrez?

Hi Guys.
After the really bad experience with my replica ZR1 bumper, (not with the product itself, but the service was terrible).
I decided to buy from them the Z06 style side scoop for my C7 Z51.

At the time of the purchase it was listed as "In Stock", so i purchased it on February,14.
After 5 or 6 days of not receiving any notification as far shipment, i contacted them. no one replied to my various e-mail.
So i opened a claim on Paypal, magically, i got reply the very same day.
They said, unfortunately it was out of stock (not what it says on their website), but instead of delete my order, and get refund, they told me they would upgrade the shipping service from standard to expedited at no cost, and they would ship it on February,24 (11 days after my payment).

Well, i accepted, the item was sent on 24 as they said,
and... guess what? with standard shipping service.

Tried to email them 2 other times, no one got back.
This is my last time for sure buying from them.

So you ordered the part on the 14th & they shipped it on the 24th? Geez, that's only 10 days, no reason to be upset over that

These kinds of things are why I typically only order from known reputable shops (I know nothing about Vicrez, other than this thread). This company may make good products, but their service is horrible. They probably think nothing is wrong and will wonder why they will go out of business in a few years.

No company can be as bad as Corvette Mods. I don't understand how they are still in business.

Today it's all about immediate gratification! Says the product is fine and had to wait ten whole days to have the part in hand. Only gripe is the website indicated "In Stock" and they had to wait. The "In Stock" status can change in a fraction of a second if another order is placed. The vendor said on the sixth day they would upgrade shipping to make amends for the delay. Four days later they shipped the part. Then the OP (proper pronoun unknown) posts on the forum to badmouth the vendor for bad service. Good riddance. This business doesn't need customers like this. IMO this customer is a real nosebleed.

Let's see; uncommunicative company. Doesn't follow through on promises. Yep. Totally OP's fault.

We are now too used to Amazon's same or next day delivery so no one wants to wait. I remember ordering electronics from the old Crutchfield paper catalog and having to wait months to get my ****.

First it was "various emails." Then it was "Tried to email them 2 other times." Then OP said "i opened a claim on Paypal, magically, i got reply the very same day." What day was the PayPal account charged? My experience is that you are not actually charged until item is shipped. How many days did OP wait to open a claim with PayPal? Couldn't have been too long because all this happened within a ten day period. OP doesn't actually say how but he immediately received a "reply" upon filing a claim. Presumably it was an email reply perhaps several days after his order. The timeline of events seems unclear. I am not saying the OP's experience was perfect but I just don't see the big deal here. OP says the product itself was acceptable so it was again "presumably" received some date after the ship date of Feb. 24th. Today is Feb. 26th so, if OP has received the product, that's pretty "expedited" in my view. If he hasn't received his replica ZR1 bumper will we be seeing another post about a substandard product? IMO seems like much ado about nothing. OK, the website could have been wrong because it wasn't updated quickly. These things can change in a moment, and often do. If the vendor has a telephone was any effort made to reach out by phone? If the OP is happy with the product what is he really dissatisfied about? Lack of email response? OP had some communication. OP is not out any money. Was he really going to actually install the front bumper during this period of supposed delay? It just seems like a chicken **** beef and a bum rap to me.

Not about self gratification. This day an age web stores should have updated real time stock inventory. If they cant then they shouldn't be listing items as in stock on the web page. I manage quite a few web stores and that is the thing most are all concerned about that the inventory stock is in real time. Listing an item as in stock and it's not or is production should state that. Misleading leading the customer to purchasing a so called in stock item is just not right.

I think its bullshit for a store to sit there and play cloak and dagger with customers money\item.

If you cant have a real time stock listing then change your web page to not show item as "instock" when it isnt.

There's more to this story. What country are you in OP? If I remember correctly, you're in Europe somewhere? Also Sir, you complained all about their shipping and terrible packaging of your bumper, then you give them more of your hard-earned money only to complain again? This sounds logical? Good luck friend, but 0 sympathy here.

In stock or Out of Stock the order was placed on a Friday Feb. 14th so they did not even receive for processing until Mon. Feb.17th. It was shipped on Feb. 24th. Within five business days( 22nd & 23rd Sat., Sun) for Out of Stock. BTW, there is a difference between self gratification and immediate gratification unless you prefer to restate someone else's post in terms you are more familiar with. Furthermore, there was no cloak and dagger with anyone's money, or anything that I can see. Customers do not get charged until the item is shipped. That is just made up crap. Add more drama to this supposed vendor wrong. People should hold themselves to such perfect standards they say they expect from everyone else. There was simply no big foul on the part of the vendor. This is a relatively new item very much in demand, and the status can change quickly on a website. It is unfortunate that the OP was caught up in this situation but I just don't see how he was negatively impacted in any significant way; other than the OP's own lack of patience and business acumen. Anecdotal: I had a situation with a forum vendor where I ordered a couple thousand dollars in parts that were advertised at extremely low prices that seemed too good to be true. Before I ordered, I sent an email and did not receive a reply within 48 hours. No big deal, they have a very large performance shop and are very busy. I didn't want to miss the big sale so I called them. I confirmed the order, shipping and prices with his customer service person. As it turns out, there was a programming "glitch" on the website that had the prices drastically wrong in the drop down menus. I spoke with the owner by phone who initially felt I was trying to get free merchandise; after all he would lose quite a bit of money. When I brought my earlier email to confirm prices to their attention they offered a price concession. I did not accept because I could actually buy the items cheaper than the vendor's source. I returned the merchandise. I was inconvenienced; had to return ship the items, process a PayPal refund and reorder from another vendor. I did no "bad mouthing" of the vendor. No forum posts to slam the vendor's reputation. Stuff just happens sometimes, and it doesn't mean they are involved in bad or fraudulent business practices. I see so many chronic whiners and complainers post in this forum at the slightest perceived misdeed by someone else. The OP simply suffered no actual damages, other than a slight inconvenience in his mind. I can't wait for the post when the OP finds out the ZR1 bumper doesn't fit exactly to the fraction of a millimeter, may required refitting and refinishing and does not match OEM material and durability standards.

Reading your own post with the vendor's shipping policy here is the big one: The ZR1 front end OP ordered is a large truck freight item thatdoes not qualify for expedited same day shipping with UPS, FEDEX, DHL etc. It's simply too large and bulky for a non bulk freight shipper to handle so there is no way he could receive the item faster. The items must be crated, a freight shipper must be contacted, bill of lading generated and dock pickup arranged and performed. All this takes significant time. This all goes to unrealistic expectations. Not awkward at all, just a little reading comprehension.

When members post part of the vendors website about shipping policies they are actually being misleading. If you read the actual shipping policies in their entirety, which is too lengthy to post here, you will see there are many exclusions, disclaimers and 1, 2 and 3 day expedited which may not be available everywhere. Also large item truck freight only exclusions do apply. If you actually read and understand the Vicrez.com shipping policies you will see the OP was NOT given poor service or wronged in any way. OP either failed to read the actual shipping policy in the entirety or OP did not understand them. Remember, the OP states there is no problem with the actual product. If anyone cares to read Vicrez whole shipping policy, here is the link: https://www.vicrez.com/shipping-info...meday_Shipping

OP is in Italy. I found his other complaints. I still don’t get why after his complaints, he went back and ordered from the same vendor again.
