Default Contemporary Corvette

So contemporary Corvette had a item listed on their website that I wanted to purchase but I wanted to call and ask about the condition before purchase because it was a used part. When I called he described the condition to my satisfaction and I let him know I was ready to purchase until the deception came to light. The part was listed on there website for 200 dollars less than he told me the price would be. When I brought the discrepancy to his attention he told me he did not care what the website price is and if I want the part it will cost the extra 200 dollars. This is terrible customer service and I am genuinely disappointed that they are running a bait and switch like this. I mean who doesn’t honor their advertised price.

Thanks for posting this. Hopefully other Corvette owners will read this and avoid this company. No need or use for a company like this. They should honor their advertised price.

Have not had my vette “97” very long and have been tearing it down since it came in to my possession (150k) early January. The list of lousy suppliers has been growing for sure. Rude is not a real bother but liars and cheaters can boil ones blood for sure. Fortunately I have also found some guys through the forum that are honest and helpful. I have not found a place here with a list and reviews of the good and the bad although it may exist. I’m about done searching and buying on this go round. Was planning to post a few pics of my limited project and will include suppliers that have been helpful.
Thanks for the warning on Contemporary Corvette. I’ll add them to my schiff list! Aloha
